King Chester

This place that we call home
Was once under the rule of Gnomes
Back before we were born
Back when the land was ripe with thorns
A ruthless gnome ruled the land
He was a stocky guy when he would stand
And his face was very tanned
The king went by Chester
His brother was Lester
And their sister was the jester
Their rule was firm and oppressive
With control they were obsessive
For far too many years they would rule
But a resistance soon formed a pool
By the time the great war was ready to erupt
Everyone knew how the king was corrupt
Money and greed stole his heart
They made his soul tart
In the end when the people had won
And Chester the king was done
Goodbye forever and farewell
Now King Chester is in hell
